One Last Dance...
It's so special to be able to use our gift to give back to the ones we love!
We wanted to make this particular Senior shoot extra special. Rachel is the baby of our family, and it is so hard to believe she is entering her last year of school before she becomes an adult. She has been a beautiful dancer for as long as I can remember, so we had to incorporate that into the photos. She also brought along some awesome props including an adorable flower crown, tons of her old point shoes, AND her dad's vintage mustang!
We were delayed by some nasty clouds, but when the sun came back out and started to set we were left with beautiful light to work with. Rachel loves the spotlight as a dancer and theater girl...so she was great in front of the camera. We also got some in with her older sister Sarah Beth and boyfriend, Brandon. We loved working with our family on these! It's so special to be able to use our gift to give back to the ones we love!
Once again we had a blast with the vintage glass! We shot everything with MANUAL FOCUS which is so tough but so much fun! We used two Panasonic GH3 bodies which is a Micro 4/3 system. We combined them with 3 different lenses including the Canon FD 35-105mm f.3.5, Minolta 55mm f.1.7 and the Minolta 45mm f.2.
We were able to use the cloud cover and the setting sun over the trees to create some great natural light shots as well as roping in Rachel's boyfriend to work the reflector! We love the way the pics came out and can't wait to shot with Rachel again! We have some great shots planned utilizing a dance costume and the old warehouse we found! Hope you enjoy the pics and let us know if we can be a part of your story in the future! God bless
