Today was a fairytale
I can't believe it is already that time of the year again! Senior pictures and another group headed into that last year of high school! I had a great time shooting with this beautiful young lady!
I headed into this shoot with an idea of capturing something enchanting and almost fairytale. I didn't want it to be over processed, but I did want a couple of shots to lean toward something you may see in fashion rather than traditional "senior pics." I had seen some pictures of Sierra through her mom's Facebook prior to the shoot, so I knew her look would be perfect for the style I was looking for. I love her hair in these shots too!
Our session was actually cut short due to rain, and we only covered a couple spots, but I am very happy with the result! This was a very small amount of gear especially in the lighting sense, but I wanted to make sure and keep it simple and light for our first session together. My goal was to capture some drama and a cinematic look, making them more of a timeless piece of art rather then just another senior picture. I also shoot entirely in 16x9 which really helps with the overall way it hits the eye, as well as fit the Iphone and Ipad screens quite nicely.
